Rum for Æstetik (Space for Aesthetics) and KidsDistortion invite all children to come and participate in free art activities in Enghaveparken when we celebrate the Convention on the Rights of the Child and children’s right to full participation in the cultural and artistic life.
Rum for Æstetik will show how natural materials can be used to create artworks and a collaborative exhibition will emerge in the park as children contribute to it. Together we create a poetic and sensuous space, where we encourage dialogue and immersion in both materials, artistic processes, and children’s rights.
We let the senses loose and together we’ll experience how collected natural materials and weeds from the city streets can change character when we use them on canvases and in sculptures. Children of all ages can join and everyone is welcome.
Thursday 1 June at 12-17
Can be experinced without language skills
