In the first decades of the 19th century, Kamma and Knud Lyne Rahbek created a meeting place for the writers, scientists and intellectuals of the time, and here came H.C. Andersen, Adam Oehlenschläger, H.C. Ørsted, Grundtvig, B.S. Ingemann and many others. The tour also tells about the historic house, which was both a road inn and an asylum before it became a museum. It is free to participate in the open tour when the entrance to the museum has been paid.
