LOKALE wants to examine the collaborative premise of an artistic production, curating and communication.

The team behind LOKALE consists visual artists, performers, social practitioners and intermediaries. What binds the collective together is an interest in the collaborative both internally and externally – as a premise of artistic practice and as a meaningful strategy in conjunction with the public and the individual.

In short, the key to the entire project is an idea of the art experience as a meeting. A meeting which unfolds as a situation of artistic creation and study, and as a meeting that opens up in unexpected ways to its public.
