Slipset is a workshop hosted by the visual artist Malene Hartmann for the residents of Ørestad Senior Center. Anyone interested can join and participate.
The design plans for the city of Ørestad is also known as Slipset because it connects both the old buildings in Amager and the common areas known as Amager Fælled, with vast open grasslands and a contrasting horizon sporting the newly built city.
The artistic world of Malene Hartmann is full of stripes and shapes arising in abstact fiugres both near and far. Beginning with the artist’s work methodology, participants will paint with fragments of a visual margin. All the paintings will be combined to create 1 fluid painting that illustrates the densely built up contour of the city, much like the experience of a train ride through the city to end at Vestamager metro station.
”Slipset” will be a site-specific piece of work where stripes of color and lines are released onto canvas!
