The exhibi3on Roses for the Wind, talks about which complex and refined support systems / structures, in a figura3ve sense, maintain our society and existence.

Welfare, ideologies and the expert systems we overlook in everyday life. Our Western understanding of 3me and how we posi3on ourselves in it. The project is a branch of a long-term project that through its life3me will develop and divide into several branches and meanings. The exhibi3on focuses on the collabora3on between Mikkel Carlsen and Dije Lyngkær, where the star3ng point is based on the careful and specialized work behind the bearings that maintain our physical historical relics: the museum’s bearings. The project will highlight these custom-made objects, which are lovingly adapted to a singular purpose and object, in order to be as minimally conspicuous and safe for a selected ar3fact as possible. This will turn the exhibi3on upside down and instead create objects adapted to the bearings, as opposed to the other way around.

We see this as a gesture for the crac and the anima3on the holders inevitably get through their life3me, but also as a recogni3on of their purely aesthe3c and underlying historical and societal significance. Like small three-dimensional drawings in spaces that tenderly reach into the void acer their peers. And asks ques3ons, What is content – what have they worn? In what context did they
carry it?
