pro tempore.art transforms the temporary office space of Bikubenfonden with the art manifestation OFFICE OVERLOAD.
Where is the limit for art in a modern workspace? What happens when art infiltrates meeting rooms, TV screens, toilets and desks? This is what OFFICE OVERLOAD explores when the curatorial collective pro tempore.art transforms Bikubenfonden’s temporary office building in Copenhagen NW, with works by 14 artists and artist groups.
OFFICE OVERLOAD presents works by Madeleine Andersson (SE), Julie Falk (DK), Rune Bering (DK) + Kevin Josias (DK), Karl Eivind Jørgensen (NO), Zein Majali (JO/PL), Dagmar Moldovanu (DE/RO), Victor Nyberg (SE), Emil Sandström (SE), Sara Sjölin (SE), Trine Struwe (DK), TLF Trio (DK), Philip Ullman (SE), Filip Vest (DK) and Emilie Tarp Østensgård (DK)
The curatorial collective pro temp. exists of Anna Clarisse Holck Wæhrens, Isabella Hemmersbach, Julie Koldby and Sia Hurtigkarl. pro temp. has started their two-year residency at Bikubenfonden in the summer of 2022, temporarily located at Enigheden, Lygten 39 Copenhagen, NW. Thus, pro temp. continues developing its organization and curatorial practice, where since 2017, it has temporarily taken over established galleries and institutions with exhibitions, which will manifest in workspaces in the future.
