Start your morning at Nikolaj Kunsthal’s Lower Gallery with a coffee and evocative organ music by Michael Heise.
Lean back in a bean bag in our current exhibition Truth is like Poetry by artist Mikkel Carl while pianist, composer and organist Michael Heise plays on the old, melodious Markussen & Søn organ which was inaugurated at Nikolaj Church back in 1931. The music will be free meditative improvisations which in terms of genre are placed in continuation of Michael Heise’s latest trio release The Heist: Upside Down.
The Morning Ceremony will be presented in collaboration with Art Week 2023.
Free entry to the Lower Gallery. Coffee can be bought in the café.
