Because of the worldwide spread of COVID-19 Art Week will be moved to the 22 nd -27 th of September. As a consequence of the international conditions and the actions in place by the Danish government in the fight against the corona pandemic, the team behind Art Week has had to postpone Art Week 2020 until later this year.
Art Week was scheduled to happen in May and the program was taking form. But the restrictions regarding international flights are one of the main challenges for planning Art Week, as its purpose partly is to bring international attention towards the Danish art scene. It is likewise essential that there is no way of knowing for how long it will be prohibited to gather as an assembly of more than ten people.
Any news regarding the fall version of Art Week will be posted on this site continuously. One thing, which is certain at this moment, is that Art Week 2020 will still be presenting a diverse program inviting everyone who would be interested to explore the institutions, galleries and artists of Copenhagen.
