Asger Harbou Gjerdevik, What goes up must come down, 2022

Asger Harbou Gjerdevik (b. 1986, Denmark), MFA in Painting, Royal College of Art, London and BA in Fine Art, Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, London. Gjerdevik works in various media such as painting, sculpture, collage, and drawing. With inspiration from everyday surroundings, movies, music, art history, and architecture, Gjerdevik examines human life in compositions filled with iconic symbols and graphic elements. Often the results are both complex and boundless pictorial spaces or structures, with the potential for perpetual change and differing stories.

Strand (2019).
