SMK is home to a treasure trove of artworks by some of history’s greatest artists. Spread across several floors and many rooms, the collections invite you to delve into more than 700 years of Danish and international art. Highlights include works by Cranach and Rembrandt, the distinctive light found in paintings by Anna Ancher and Hammershøi, French explosions of colour by Matisse and Derain as well as Expressionist experiments and contemporary art by Jorn and Porsager.
